In Luna's Shadow Market, you will craft potions and shadow pets for your shop's customers. Each potion you brew creates a loyal shadow companion.

Note: Please run using Chrome, if possible. This game is very unfinished, I wasn't able to add all the art I created due to time constraints and a half the art is placeholder or temporary, so please don't expect something amazing (yet). At the end of the ritual, a pet was supposed to be created, but I need to submit the game like this for now. The second stage is painfully slow and it will be fixed after the jam's voting period ends.

In this game, you:

  1. Gather Ingredients: Move your cauldron (W/D keys) to catch falling items in the correct order.
  2. Select Properties: Stop the slot reels (spacebar) at the right moment.
  3. Complete the Ritual: Press keys (W, A, D, Z, X + S) to match moving items in a magical pentagram.

You have three attempts per potion, so accuracy is key.

The theme was "Shadows and Alchemy". For alchemy, I chose the potion theme and ingredient mixing. For shadow, I really liked the meaning “an inseparable attendant or companion” so I chose that one.

I used Godot 4.2 for development and Krita for artwork.
